I may have forgotten the name of the restaurant, but it was somewhere in Thailand.
These were clean, sweet, and springy. The freshness really shines through when they are simply boiled like this, and the sour and spicy dipping sauce was refreshing and flavorful. 9/10
This crispy, sweet, sour, and spicy salad was a refreshing break throughout the seafood feast. It did become a bit too spicy at times, but that went well with the seafood anyways. 7/10
The sweet and savory curry sauce along with all the aromatics was an incredible coating for the plump and juicy crab. The sauce was just so amazing with rice or just by itself, and this was so good that we even got another order. One of the most fresh and delicious seafood dishes that I have ever tried. 10/10
This fish was alive and swimming just 30 minutes ago, so the extreme freshness of the fish really shined. The flesh was beautifully flaky and tender, and the flavor was clean. Simple but effective. 9/10
This giant river prawn looks spectacular, but the flavor and texture were just mid. The meat was too soft and thin, and the flavor was also not as impressive as expected. 6/10
This shrimp was a lot better than the last. The meat was almost lobster-like, and it was really plump and juicy. The salt and pepper crust was well-fried and had a great flavor. 8/10
Final Review: The seafood was simply spectacular, and the space was clean and the beach atmosphere was great. This was just an amazing meal at a really reasonable price, with some of the freshest seafood I've ever had. The service was a little slow at times, but it was a pretty big restaurant so I'll let it slide. 10/10
